Such primitive devices would not suffice. The bike shed is air conditioned of course.

I'm sure it won't be long, Music, and that you'll find it well worth having waited. Meanwhile - if you would like a pic of any part of TauTag especially, or from any special angle do let me know and I'll take it and put it up on the site. What a wonderful facility digital cameras are!
Thanks Tony..Maybe a shot of the battery extracted from its casing would be useful.. Just to see what I have to carry to the office each day!

Hi Tgame! nice photos. I should be getting my Agattu next month according to Scott. I've ordered a 49cm frame, crossbar type, is that the same size as yours? You see, I'm not very tall, (5' 7" or 8"), with an inside leg of approx. 28/29" and I think I've got it right but I am not absolutely sure. But if your figures are similar to mine then I reckon it'll be ok !

Regards,
StrangeFish

Hi Fishy - Mine is the 56cm size and I'm a hefty devil of 6'4" and 17 stone so my details are of no use to you. But I suspect that your bike will be similar to mine in one regard - it will be big for its frame size. These are big bikes. Scott was very helpful in sorting out my best frame size so I would expect you to be OK if he did you as well.

You'll like the bike I'm convinced and I expect the crossbar version will be that little bit more rigid though I haven't noticed any lack in mine.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts when you get it. I feel a bit of a sod going on about mine when I know many are waiting!

No, no - Mandy is the leccy bike lass.
Am upset now, thought I had a leccy bike named after me? lol!

Would like to see your pics though. I love my new bike but in some ways wish I had gone for a smaller frame although it isn't a problem as such, but just felt more stable on my 24 inch Powabyke.
Just got to get used to it I guess? lol!
But most manufacturers just seem to make standard sized bikes and the biggest seem the best at the moment. No thought for the shorties like me, sob :(

You have, Mandy. Mine is "LeccyBike TauTag!"

I really hear you in what you say about frame sizes. I've had endless trouble over the years. I'm so lucky with TauTag being just right. Makers used to do a range of sizes, though they were never big enough for me, but nowadays so many seem to think one size fits all. Usually I suspect it fits none.

LOL!!

Gotta be the "Leccy" :D
The SE had all I want from a "Leccy" bike and is fine but got to get used to the handling as am quite small and apart from the motor cutting out felt okay but needed to get used to.
I actually wanted the "Torque" initially but is a huge 28 inch wheel and frame. Come on guys at 50 Cycles and others, not everyone is your bog standard height, lol
You are tall and I am small Tony, you would think they would come up with other sizes? Although they have now with the Agattu I believe?
But would that be the bike I was after? I don't know?
It isn't dereg and wanted to get into work a bit quicker on the paths I use.
We will see?
Don't want to be illegal, just want the choice on off road?
Regards
Mandy

Battery phots up, Tom. I put a tennis ball beside to show scale.

TauTag
Thanks very much Tony.. Looks very discreet. Sometimes worry that the battery will attract unwanted magpies.. I think I'll manage to carry it up the seven flights to my office. (love the red tennis ball, by the way)

Best wishes,
Tom

Hi Tony! ..... "Fishy" ... I love it lol.... Thanks for coming back so quickly with info'. I guess you're at the other end of the size scale to me but I'm reasonably sure the frame size will be o.k. I might have to sacrifice the seat pillar for a rigid one but I'm sure we'll manage. According to Fleccie in his road test, there is no flexing in the step through, which has been confirmed by your good self! Yep, am now looking forward to delivery more than ever
All the best for now,
Paul
