Hi just built a 250w front hub bike using a cheap Halfords Apollo mountain bike, wanted a Ebike so that I would get out and about more and so far it’s working already planning this weekend’s trip into the country side. Will post pics of the bike at the weekend

Great bike. It just goes to show that you don't need to spent a lot to get a good ebiking experience. Did you get yough kit from BMSBattery? Let's have some details about it - cost, source, etc.

This was all that I ordered using Alibaba

the main mistake that I made was not to have the courage to convert my more expensive MTB

Ah, the Phaze!

Simple, cheap and easy to convert, already has front sus and disc brakes,

i found an old apollo phaze on Gumtree for £25, all i could salvage was the frame and the front rim, i replaced everything else. Done a BBS02 conversion inc. battery from BTN in China then added an Alfine 8 from Taylor Wheels, Germany,

so far so good!

As far as I can see, the motor is from Aikema or a clone. It's the one we know as the Q100. Your controller and LCD are from Kunteng and your battery could come from anywhere. It's a generic battery in an 09 case, also known as a dolphin battery.
