We've all done tricks like that at some time or other Chris, like the time I wanted four of an item and unwittingly ended up with four packs of four, it's just one of the hazards of online ordering.

Leicester LE4, UK.
Unfortunately, the instructions for the alarm states "install an ALKALINE battery". Has your Lithium battery created any problems?
There is also the word "UP" etched on the battery cover. Because the 'switch' is a roaming-ball type I assumed that the alarm had to be mounted vertically. Is that right?
P.
The lithium battery works fine Peter, I don't expect 10 years from it but it should last longer than an alkaline. I think the alkaline instruction really means don't use a standard zinc-carbon type.

My alarm is mounted horizontally and works ok.

Oh well, at least you've got good neighbourly relations Chris.

Glad your pleased with them, and just what you want to help protect that Kalkhoff. I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions of it.
