OMG.....that is such a brilliant idea, then maybe bring our call centres back here and increase employment at the same time, the redundant call centre operatives over there could become prison officers.....this really is a win/win situation....if only those in power had the good common sense and intelligence that the majority of the general public here have......and there wasnt such a totally OTT "human rights" movement to object.....and whats worse.....be listened to......Like call centres, how about moving our prison service abroad - say India? I'm sure that would be a cheaper option, and we need only pay a one way fare for the crims!
Trouble is that although the country chosen may agree to this nice little arrangement, I'm sure they would want it to work both ways and they send their unwanted here ... Just because some ar ole lawyers have discovered a nice cushy way of feathering their nest, doesn't mean the concept of human rights is wrong. I would like to remind some people this is not the 17th Century any more.
