I don't mind either way. I do like a QR rear wheel though, makes getting the 700C bike in the rear of a Toyota Yaris in an emergency a piece of cake (both wheels off). I also chose my mid-drive with external controller because I read a lot...
about the same, 36V * 20A or 48V * 17A.Which would provide for greater climbing ability, the Woosh Big Bear (36v, code 13 BMP motor, 20a controller, 36v 15ah battery) or a bike fitted with the new SWX02 kit (48v, code 16 SWX02 motor, 17a controller, 48v 12ah battery)?
Interesting. From what I can tell, they do have a similar winding speed. The 48v SWX02 is a code 16 according to the photo. My understanding is that this would be equivalent to a code 12 at 36v.36v x 20A = 720W
48v x 17A = 816W
so the second one wins by 13% if they have the same winding speed.
