That backfired on you a bit. See what I wrote afterwards above.

I see. My post crossed with yours.
I was thinking along the line of anotherkiwi's suggestion of the Decathlon Kemel. Decathlon sell it for £85 delivered and a Xiongda kit with 48V 8AH downtube battery would just fit the bill without needing torque arms. That'd suit mountainous terrain of Spain.

No?!!!!!

For £500, OP should be looking for a bike with a pvc leather saddle, a 9ah Samsung bottle battery (preferably black for extra stealth), 6 speed Shimano Tourney gears with a thumb shifter, a front 250w motor, a weight of no more than 23kg, thumb throttle, V-brakes. A black and white frame to go with the black wheels and battery would be nice too. I wonder if such a bike exists? Can anyone help?
You mean this one? With a kit on it? Wheel is aluminium so a bit of black paint xould be needed.

No not that one, but I was re-reading the thread and blow me, what a surprise! The bike in the link in my post#3 has exactly that specification. What a coincidence.
