Hi Wcoats, Are you looking for an eMTB for trails or cross country or something for general use and a few trails?

Why 350watts why illegal ?
Most legal kits peak over 350 watts anyway.

Try a Haibike hardnine.

I tried the Bosch and Yamaha engines and I like the Yamaha.

The assistance is there right as you press the pedal to start, also its cheaper.
Good road manners and it will take you anywhere. I do not enjoy tinkering with my bike so I just charge it and go and the bike does not complain.

Also every other make of eMTB/Trekking that will do the same.

There is no best just what you like.

350w ......just because.....not wanting to be left behind should bikes advance in short period of time. Better to have that power if required than find that I need it later?

Looking for good all rounder with good range....just purchased a day van (ford transit) and would like to tour Highlands, lots of hills where the assist will come in handy and I can use the bike over a period of days rather than burn myself out on one good run then don't go out for a few days.

Crank drive and 350w all but limits you to a Bosch speed pedelec or Kalkhoff - given you also want ready made.

Bear in mind the extra watts only come from the controller and are aimed at extra speed, not torque.

The Bosch 250w CX motor has more torque than the 350w speed pedelec one.

Realistically, the only difference you will notice is the assistance continuing above 15.5mph, and there are ways to derestrict most 250w crank bikes.

Not many speed pedelecs are available in the UK due to their illegality, so your choice of bike brand and style will be limited.

You don`t need 350w because the Bosch CX 250w motor will outperform any 350w S class bike but you have to take the restriction off and that makes it illegal so caution is needed.
If you want value for money look at the Cube or KTM range,i have a Cube carbon C-62 hybrid with the CX motor and it is super with plenty of power and fast enough.I paid 2.5k for it getting a small discount.

That's a really nice bike.
Give it a few days then initial review please.
If you want range keep it legal, the little extra speed from derestriction eats the battery power.
Let me know how the 11 spd gears go too.

11spd is fine as long as you can set it up and index the gears as it tends to go out of whack if you dont bother with it, even the hi lo goes out of whack on mine esp if it gets muddy and crud on the chain.

and keep an eye on the b screw as can slip and hit the cassette wheels and to much and it will not change gear very well.
