Best battery connector to use?

I’m at the stage where I would like to standardise on a specific connector for my various 36v packs (Swytch/Makita/whatever). Attributes I can think of, are high current, polarity sensitive, waterproof, and safe. I’m considering the Amass Deans T connector which is rated at 36A.

Is that a good choice, or is there a better one?

Thanks In advance.

XT60. Deans are OK, but a bit more fiddly to connect, and many of the Ebay ones are cheap imitations that melt when you solder them if you're not careful.

I find it easier to do a tidy and secure connection with the XT60 versus the Deans.

There are 'waterproof' versions of the XT60.

Thanks Saneagle. Yes, they look the business.
Are the XT60 connectors on eBay ok? That’s my usual place of purchase!

The XT range oar 30, 60 0r 90 each relating to the current rating.
I use XT60 or the XT90 anti spark.

Thanks all.
It leads me on to a follow-up question. What gauge of wire!
Thinking of 14 SWG silicone twin to go from front to back of the bike. That should be enough do you think?

NB that's burst current, continuous rating is about half that.

If like me you disconnect the battery often the 2, 3 and 4 pole 'speakon connector's are nice to use and cheap if you look around. Not actually rated for DC but they're well engineered, work great and a waterproof version's available.
