Well, it's been a brilliant Bank Holiday week with perfect cycling weather. As well as my splash through the Cotswolds ford, I've cycled out to Raglan Castle, rolled up Symonds Yat Rock and into Symonds Yat East then along the Peregrine Path before heading over the Doward Hill (with a group of youths laughing at me and saying I'd never get up the steep hill - but I did), and completed the Three Castles (White/Grosmont/Skenfrith) route twice, once in each direction, just for the fun of it.
The Bank Holiday week also marks the anniversary of buying my first leccy bike, my Seago folder later followed by the Oxygen E-Mate which I used today. I never imagined I'd be heading out on hilly 50-mile day rides when this new interest started but now I can't imagine being without my bike/s and keep wanting to go further - it's an addictive hobby yet there still seem to be so few electric bikes around.
Grosmont Castle today.
