Bbs02 crank clearance

My bbs02 build is coming along nicely

What does forum think of this crank clearance though ? Is it an issue? So close even a small gauge cable tie will foul

The though of taking a hammer to my lovely Tange prestige Ti tubing gives me heart palpitations!

I was only kidding! Pinching it in a little in a vice would be my serious option, just the 2 mm or so.

Clearance is good. Interference is bad. You have clearance, so nothing to worry about.

When under power, the torque reaction will pull the clearance slightly wider as it's on the non-drive side...just make sure your swingarm bearings are ok tho!

As it is it shouldn`t interfere but it`s close,
however if it does touch instead of battering your pride and joy with a hammer take the arm off and grind/file a couple of mm off that point on the inside of the arm.
