What sort of sensor, torque or cadence, and are you using a throttle? It could possibly be down to bad connections somewhere, or the sensor magnets not quite lined up right.
The finger accelerator is mounted, I do not use it (I am not sure of its complete operation ...) so the engine hesitates when I am in PAS 1 and I drive very slowly. I just reassembled the engine piece after piece, the hall sensor is well assembled I think. I specify that this defect has been known to me for a long time, I thought that after the de-reassembly it would disappear, but no, still there ...
It may be you may be able to tune out the problem via a programming cable. Even if you’re successful, it’ll not be long before the controller misbehaves in some other way.

I have this cable for programming, tried it, but never changed the settings manufactured… However, I changed the speed limit to 35kmh for the entire last summer. But before the engine overheated, this one season, I still had rectify the speed limit to 25kmh. That's why I didn't send back the bbs01b to the seller...
Maybe I will do that, replace the controller, but for now im a little intimidated because of so many wires…...

Nothing is easy, yes. But definitely not warranty...Back to the seller through border one more time...no. And I haven't anymore packaging for that moreover. Plus I opened the engine, not good for the warranty… So. Im on my own!
That's my first ebike, so maybe it works normal and im worried for Nothing!
I ordered 10 mosfets IRFB3077 in case I need to repair that! But, really, not an easy fix!

If jerky under PAS use look at two setting under PAS tab , see what the ' Start C% ' is set at, 10 -20% offers less strain from a standing start.
Also look at 'Slow Start mode' , If it is set too high then power delivery ramps up too quickly and can be jerky at start up a setting or 4, 5 or 6 should be smoother.
If jerky under throttle use look in ' Throttle handle' tab, look at Mode make sure it is set to Current.
Whilst there look at 'Start Current' if set to ' 5 - 10 % ' start up will be smoother with throttle use.
Show us a pic of the screen settings in all three tabs, 'Basic', 'PAS' & ' Throttle Handle' .

okay, I did that you told me : some settings have changed, maybe because of the overheating. I made the changes you propose. Tried the bike, rear Wheel up, with the throttle. So my 4 PAS are doing well! I Don't want to go outdoor because it's rainy. Perhaps more infos later.

It `may` cure your problem, but be careful and keep checking your motor temperature, don`t let it get hot.

by the way, what size are your wheels, it says 17inch there - is that correct?

`Write` on left page to make changes to that Tab only
The right section `Write Flash` makes changes to all 3 Tabs.
File > Load to load in a new .el File.... you can make changes to it if you wish, ie 26inch wheel
