You should of asked him for the discount as you have just bought a battery from him. He gives away a pair of hydraulic brake sensors as well with the full kit.:)What bike are you putting it on?
A gear sensor too.An the colour c14 display as standard.Eclipse sell the dpc14 for £10 more than the c965, but want £28 to upgrade the kit with it.

The display costs £60-£80 on its own and I think the range might surprise you unless you run in high mode all the time:eek:
Fingers x on the range. That battery seems like its matched by them for plenty of high amp drain riding. The 29E battery on my bbs01 18amp prob struggle when running wot a lot ,as i have to.As the max pas is only 8-8.5amp.Thanks to eclipse programming of the replacement controller . Now ive finally got my laptop back, must change some settings to get something like 12- 14 amps on pas. Id like to run the bbshd around 20amps pas, saving wot for hills and the ocasional burst of fun.

What alterations do u think electron cycles have made to the bbshd programming to offer it in 3 different power ratings? As far as i see the standard version 1000w nominal is 1740 at 58v fresh x 30amp. Their 1700w reprogramming is 1560w nominal 1740w max? Does it mean ud be unable to step down to an economy level ,high power all the time?Appreciate any thoughts

if you reprogram the amount of levels to 9 and can adjust pas levels I would hope you will be ok. Did I not read electrons battery uses 30q so power output from the battery should not be a problem .And with 52 volts I cannot remember what volts it should start out at fully charged ,but i would be sitting at the front door waiting for the kit to arrive:rolleyes:

Yeah the one i bought is 70 x 30q ina 14s5p. Im just not sure what they mean by offering it programmed in 1000w, 1500w and 1700w. The latter says 1540w to 1740w surely they dont mean u cant run it less than 1500w ? A full 52v is 58v . 58x 30 is 1740 but thats what a bbshd is with a 52v anyway. So are they locking out lower levels of pas saying cant run less than 1540w or 58v x 27amp? Beats me .

Yeah im as excited as a 1970s schoolboy who knows hes getting an action man with eagle eyes for xmas.

That's a memory I can relate to:) did he have parachute too. 70 x 30q has a very high discharge capacity it should be a very interesting ride

That should be one fast bike look forward to updates:D will the battery mount ok
Kit delivered fri ,fitted sat ,still in state of uphoria mon. This things unbelievable,i hit 37mph a couple times on the flat at fairly fresh batt. Seems effortless to maintain 24-26mph ,even on pas 3, about 13amps it seemed to manage that. my bbs01 350w at full 18amp feels way, way, way less powerfull than the bbshd at 13amp.

So far after two full runs to empty of the 15ah 30q batt .I got 26 miles both times .With half done at 75% -100 % power.

The Marin bobtail trail is awesome. It handles the speed with ease.Feels solid and safe at 30 odd mph. With a fat arse sprung saddle from ebay and 1.95 road friendly tyres i blew down the last half of the portreath to devoran mine trail (julia bradbury railway walks) in total comfort at 22-28mph no matter how rough the trail.

Ill try upload some pics my phones a bit ancient tho ,an ps4 browser cant upload on. The bobtail has discs and seems to handle braking well.
