Right I need some advice as I'm new to the e bike scene....I have a aiton e bike with a reention dorado 48v battery....so it's always been charged through the discharge port dont ask why....and I've come to put the charger in to charge it up the battery was still half charged tho I know I should of waited until it was fully dead...ive put the charger in opposite way negative to positive and it gave off a spark...the charger was not plugged into the mains so that's just power from the battery that's caused the spark....now the battery seems to be dead...the charger is just flashing green and giving me no current at all when checked with multi meter...the battery is giving off a low voltage...I've tryed to do the bms reset with no joy....oh and I've noticed theres no fuse when I've removed the top off battery.....any info is much appreciated...many thanks

Follow the red /v+ discharge wire to see if a fuse is inline.
Trace wiring or continuity check wiring for any failure.
If no luck on the above two then BMS is probably toast.

If there's no fuse, you might have blown the BMS. You can check whether it's switched off by putting your red probe on the red battery wire and your black one on the black wire where it comes into the BMS and where it comes out. Voltage on both sides = OK. Voltage only on cell-pack side = BMS switched off.

Aliexpress or Ebay. Get one with a continuous current rating at least 5A above your controller. If you can find one, get one that has the same number of wires and the same connector for the sense wires. Some connectors can be the same but the other way round so be careful. It doesn't matter if you get one that doesn't match. it just means that you have to do a lot of wiring to connect the sense wires the right way.

If you had showed us what you have, it would have been easier to advise you.

I'm looking back at your first post. Nothing makes sense and everything is wrong.

1. Why are you charging through the discharge port? that's very dangerous?
2. You shouldn't wait for the battery to be flat before you charge it. that's not good for the battery and can cause it to shut down.
3. A small spark is normal if you connect with the charger switched off and the battery switched on.
4. What voltage do you have on the charge socket?
5. What voltage do you have on the cell-pack?

These batteries normally have a fuse at the other end. did you check it?

I thought it strange one would bypass the charging circuit and reverse charge using the discharge pins, a recipe for disaster as a two wire BMS isn't used.
Clearly in pic # one the charge port is visible, were you attempting to use a faster charge rate by not using the correct charger ?
Using the standard charger one can only use it connecting to the charge port, anything else connected to the discharge pins is either a modified charger lead or a completely different charge device.
Out of curiosity can you tell us the story as to why you charged it this way ?

Reverse charging has highly likely blown the BMS if no fuse is fitted.

The charge socket is giving me low volt 1.2...so I'm guessing the bms has blown

The Yellow BMS wire is C -, the charge port wire.
Blue wire B - is pack 0v connection & Black P - is the discharge.
One will have to buy a 48v charger to fit the charge point when the new BMS is fitted.
Are you sure there is no fuse at the other end.

For a charger look on ebay for one with the correct connector, it will be either 5.5mm x 2.5mm or 5.5mm x 2.1mm. You will have to double check your battery charge port pin for correct size.

Show us the charger set up you are using.
