As I havn't used the scheme before does anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement battery or even two (as an accessory) on cycle to work? just for clarity -ie without buying a bike at the same time.
An old question but I'll answer it in case anyone want to know for future reference.
You could possibly get a spare battery at the same time as purchasing a bike (you can get other accessories as well - lights, helmet, lock etc) - that would be at the discretion of the LBS.
A standalone battery without a bike purchase wouldn't be possible.
The cycle scheme do a Igo gift voucher that you can get anything from £20 to £500 to spend on anything you want just go to Home - iGo Gift Vouchers . If the government havent cut it yet
I know that this is an old thread, but I've just had an email through at work to say that the cycle 2 work scheme now covers 'accessories' rather than just 'a bike+accessories', so new batteries are now fair game!!
