email them first to make sure they can ship it over here ans ask to put free gift or sample on the box then will not have to pay import duty.

it cant go buy air so 4 weeks to get here imo.

I wouldn't advise it. I have bought lots of kit from them, including batteries, but I accept the risks and know the costs.

You have the following problems:

1. Postage costs will be very high.

2. You will get hit for import duty (don't listen to SW's advice about gift/sample, he's talking out of his BoJo).

3. If there's a problem you have to deal with it yourself, as return costs are prohibitively expensive and the language barrier too great.

4. The current GBP/USD rate makes it even less attractive.

All that said, I've never had a problem with BMSbattery.

Last battery I bought I got it from www.eclipsebikes.com and I'm quite happy with it.

Thanks for that advice Alan.I have been hit before with paying custom costs and they are not cheap. I guess I will have to ignore SW's BoJo)

Trust me, this is not true. You might get away with something physically small, light and cheap, but those guys are, (astonishingly) able to see through this old trick when it comes to a battery.

I have purchased around 10 batteries from China. Never once have I got away with it.

Did you try leaving it on the charger for an extended period of time?

I would have thought a battery of that capacity would last longer than two years, unless you are constantly drawing mega amps from it.

I will be going out on it today so when I get back (drunk) I will leave it to charge for a couple of days if that is long enough.?
Also my mistake I have had the bike for about 4 years but I never went anywhere over long distances mostly a couple of miles here and there two or three times a week.and that was a mixture of peddle power and battery power.
