Battery gone flat

It's a 2018 crosscity e bike, battery as gone flat I did sell this bike and had lots of issues finally returned money even though the battery was left to go dead, we did warn the person, but what I woul ld I like to ask on here is how do I get to wake the battery up, I'm aware is 4 year old battery bike been road on 10 times if that, I'm looking how to get the battery working ( waking it up) then I can finally try sell the bike, can anyone let me know please how to do this or if anywhere I can sell the ebike when fixed still looks new thanks in advance any help will do please

If you sell something in a private sale it's sold as seen, and there is no obligation to refund the buyer. The best way to protect yourself is to give the buyer a written receipt for the money and clearly state "sold as seen". Then it's buyer beware, entirely at their own risk, and no comeback on you.

After 4 years - used or not - the battery is past its prime, unless very carefully looked after. You'd need to open the battery up and with a multimeter check the cell strings/cells to find those that have fallen below acceptable voltage and bump them up to a level the BMS can register. There are many threads here on the forum that explain in detail what you'd need to do.

Yes mate I buy and sell and you are right I do need start doing receipts I just sell through ebay now anyway to many ******* about and I though that with battery 4 years old so my wife now wants to sell her ebike of can get going if not just sell as a bike , partly I flt bad as battery was 4 year old so even though they never charged as told them just refunded monded moned - £50 for stress lol, but yes unsure if to keep bike as it is or get new batter shame as hardly used, I'll see how battery is but 4 year old prob not the best I would imagine now

If the bike is otherwise mint, I'd look on ebay/ali for a cheap new Chinese replacement; you'll likely get a better price than trying to sell it with a bad/no battery.
