battery and temperature

What do you think is the optimum temperature for li battery performance. How much more performance do you think you might get from say +5 to +20.

Lithium battery range can increase by 30% between winter and summer. So +20 degrees C = 30% range improvement.

Yes, best operated between 20 and 30 degrees C for optimum range and performance. The losses at and below 5 degrees C are severe. The same is true for most battery chemistries, but there can be the odd notable exception like the very high temperature molten salt type (aka liquid sodium), current versions having to run at between 245 and 350 degrees C.
