batribike

hi all.
thought before i fork out a fortune on 2 bikes, i,d buy a used one, to make sure me and the wife are ok with it.

bought a used batribike diamond pro, (step through type thingy). its been fine until today, got caught out in a huge downpour and the the thing cut out, dead as a dodo...
ok, i get its prob just water ingress, but where to start first?
Any pointers ??

There are many versions of that bike. It might help to let us know which one you have.
