does any body have any experience with this brand
i have tried searching but cannot find much
what i did find was mostly good but compared to other types discussed on this site there isn,t much .
any info would be great

Probably more of them sold than any other brand. They're nothing fantadtic, but do the job. What more do you want?

I am not convinced that they are that popular. Batribikes are sold at about 100 dealerships, a bit like Powacycles. I would say that Powacycles (Ultima Networks PLC) are more sold than batribike. The company behind Batribike is Fallogate Limited (No. 06429164 16/11/2007). You can look up its profile on the internet.

Decent if not exciting bikes, been around for quite a few years. Lovely couple run the business and they exhibit at a lot of shows and events across the country. They sell through a comprehensive dealership with good support. They don't contribute much to this forum which is why there isn't much about them on here. Their claim to fame was appearing on "The Apprentice" with their folding bike at the caravan show challenge.

good support is something that would mean a lot to a newbie like myself
so far i,ve not read anything bad about this brand even if they appear to be nothing special.
having got my kit i.m researching for myself and others who are now interested.
it,s difficult to know whether to go with the many brands that appear good and good value with that ;does exactly what it says on the tin; factor or bite the bullet and get something more expensive which you are probably going to get in the long run anyway.
can,t work out if this is going to be the case with myself or if its a novelty that hasn,t worn off.
are all the second hand bikes up for sale because the owner is giving up or they are upgrading?
i haven,t been off my bike since conversion and have tried a batribike which felt a lot nicer , but to be fair my donor bike isn,t anything special.

I have two of them for past 18 months: the folder and the trike. Since I am 82 I use them like disabled scooters but they are cheaper, quicker, easier and faster. Purchase was easy and any queries handled promptly and efficiently both at time of purchase and since. Have had no problems with either. Trike with its baskets from and rear is ideal for a shopping trip.

i spotted a chap recently who had a trike and was taking his dog for some exercise
i wanted to ask him about it but couldn,t catch him as i was on foot.
on speaking to some other dog walkers they tell me that he is disabled and also uses it as a mobility aid and that he has the best exercised dog in the area.

I use the trike for shopping but I have been out on country roads with the folder. It does the job well . My only criticism would be that the gearing is far too low. In practice I put it in top and leave it there. With six levels of assistance it's all you need and it flattens out the hills no problem, even steep ones that I used to struggle up on a 'normal' bike.

i see that you live in the north pennines so that will be a real test for the hills.
its great that you can cope with them
i,m sure a bike shop could alter the gearing for you , but i suppose its better to be too low than too high
