does anyone know if it is possible to derestrict this bike?
even if it only gives a slight increase in performance without the abrupt cut out of power at 15mph
apparently it was possible with earlier models by means of the controller but i cannot find anything on this model

Of course it's possible. You just have to find out how to do it. Go through all the posts on how to to derestrict. One or more of them will work.

As d8veh say's you'll have to use the forum search facility, its just case of knowing the button sequence and how long to press them. Once you do find a sequence that works remember to put it down on paper or copy a link to save on your e- device.

i have tried many different sequences but without success.
just thought someone may have already found this out and speed up the process.
so i will sift through the derestriction posts as suggested.

i think i have now tried just about every combination of button pressing and also searched posts but i am still no further with this.
could it be that some wiring adjustment is required ?.

You should have started with the wires at the controller.
