Finding my (electric) wheels

Hello all.
I am building a bike to look like a batman bike. From the dark knight film.
I bought an old 36v sakura pedal assist bike (looks like a moped)
I have stripped the wiring loom esc and throttle.
I have cut off the rear bike forks which includes the bicyle wheel with electric hub.
I have welded a new frame and welded the rear forks into place.
I now am a bit stuck and need help.

First question:
Can i purchase another motor (36v maybe 1000w) and connect it using the same old speed controller so in theory 1 speed controller and 2 motors

Second question:
Can i use 3 small 12v high amp car batteries wired in series to run this project

Question 3:
I need to make this project as cheap as possible so any thoughts on what i have or need will help.
Many thanks for any advice and help

Holly kilowatts, pictures please.Just replacing the SLA would be the cheapest option. But a lithium battery would be better.

Sealed lead acid.I think that's what was on the bike originally. 2 motors expensive. Not sure about running the two motors off the one controller.

If you are serious then I think you have two immediate realities to deal with

1) you see are going to need modern geared brushless motors and modern brushless controllers.

2) Batteries - well it depends. Yes you can use sla but it will go about 300 yards before running out at 1000w (x2)
Even at 250w you are going to struggle.

Not wanting to be doom and gloom. But you need a realistic budget for this project.

And also it would be useful to know your goals. Do you want it to function for show only ? Do. you want actual distance to be possible ?

This is, for clarity, chucking all legalities aside

And, for that matter, the actual mechanics /engineering of making this work outside the pure electrics

This project needs a lot more planning and budgeting I'd suggest before further commitment

I love the ambition but don't continue without a plan. It will save you money and time. in the long run

Cheers

Hiya.
Thanks for your thoughts.
I think im gonna need more help than i realised electrically.
I was hoping i could get milage rather than just show use.
Thing is i see mobility scooters and i think why cant i get performance like that.
The original sakura bike is 36v but probably small hub motor maybe 250w

If i went for distannce over speed would a 500w motor be better....

If anyone gets a moment could they do a shopping list of what i should use and rough costs or links.

Many thanks. If i get this working you will all have a part in its completion!!!!!!

I assume you are planning on using those tyres? They will be heavy. Likewise that steel frame, and similar with the batteries.

It could be around 75 kilos or more.

For that you will need some serious torque.

As already stated, you need a good budget for motors, controllers and batteries.

...and unless you are happy with about 3mph you won't be able to keep it legal. Not usually a problem on a bike that looks like a, erm, bike, but on a bat mobile?

Don't want to pixx on your fireworks, but don't want you to waste time n money either.

I lot of electric motorcycles use the etek motor.
This bike is using a alltrax motor see DDmotorsystems.media three.net.
If you use cheap electric bicycle motor it Wiil go about as fast as a mobility scooter.

Motobility scooters do 8 mph a 250 watt motor can do this easily.
One motor will suffice. Three batteries will give you the required voltage.
Range is dependant on ah the more the better, and weight and hills, less is better.

So what do people think of the Sakura ? 48v 250w. Is it worth getting one. Or should I look for similar type. I quite like the scooter looking type. Instead of push bike.

Any suggestions. ?
