October 13, 20232 yr Basis is an e-bikes direct brand, they claim to have batteries in stock for all Basis models in this link 01580 830959 .

The battery is a standard Chinese one. You should be able to get one from Aliexpress, Ebay or Amazon, but not under the name of Basis. |Many different brands use that same battery .
October 13, 20232 yr Author I spent about an hour looking on AliExpress and couldn't find anything small enough to fit into the extruded alu casing. The battery itself was obviously intended for a cheap scooter as it's very small but I wonder if it was not fit for purpose on a bicycle. Anyway, the search continues.
