This is a frequent problem. We had a tragic case a few years ago when some anti-cycling moron had stretched galvanised wire across a pavement where kids often rode their bikes.

A young lad rode into it and was instantly killed by the taut wire hitting his throat, from memory he was 11 years old.

In my view anyone using wire in this way should be charged with attempted murder, for it's nothing short of that.

That is a barbed wire fence, strained and stapled.

Looks like a mornings work rather than some covert trap.

Probably a lot more to the story than "biker trap"

I mentioned this kind of thing going on in Kent, and it's on the increase. One day someone will be killed / very badly injured and the people that do this kind of think should be up for man slaughter as a minimum!
