Everyone in the know seems quite impressed with your '250w' motors specifications(aka 750w elswhere). But if you are intending a motor swap I would be happy to help you out and buy the old junk motor for 15 euros + pnp to save you all the bother... ;)

Simply over-volting your current hub motor with the 48v battery and current controller (if it is dual voltage 36/48v) should provide you with upto 30% more power

to use the 22a controller safely to full capacity you need to confirm the battery is rated for a higher than 22a continual drain, and then some.. It should be a 3rd metric printed on the battery a value in Amps Not Amp Hours.. attempting to draw more amps from a battery than its rated to supply will result in a failure at best a fire at worst
Since 48v batteries are used for heavy duty i would expect yours to have ample capacity to supply your 22a controller .. but if it went unchecked.....

Thank you for the speedy reply what I mean is if I install 750watt 48v motor with a KT 22A or 25A controller will I get more torque and power ,and will my 48v 21ah battery be big enough to handle such a motor.
That's what I'm struggling with the compatibility so you could in basic lamens terms advice me it will be much appreciated.
I wouldn't take much notice of the nominal wattage, as others have said the Bafang G062 is rated 250w, 500w and 750w but it is essentially the same motor. I would just use that. No, for the same controller voltage and power , I don't think you will get any more power or torque than your existing motor

I,ve got a bit lost with this one.
However, as others have said, merely installing a 750w motor to replace a 250w motor will not achieve anything.
If your current motor is rated at 36v and you feed it with 48v (you've said you have a dual voltage controller) you will get around 33% more torque and speed (subject to speed cutoff).
I would not fit the 22A controller as it's max current is likely to be too much for your battery and will cause life shortening damage. Overvolting the motor will cause no problems unless you increase the controller current, which could cause heating and be a waste of battery power.

17A @ 48v = 816w
