bafang midrive problem display and power cut

hi all , have a problem with my bafang kit the display keeps cutting off and won't come back on again unless i unplug it checked all connections all good any suggestions ?

If the display goes off, 9 times out of 10 it's a battery connection issue or other problem with the battery.

When does it cut out ? Randomly ? In hills ? When you hit bumps ?

Can. you check with a multimeter that both charger and battery are at correct voltage ? E.g. 42v or a shade under for a 36v nominal setup when fully charged.

If they then I'd look at the battery to cradle connections. The pins tend to lose their spring over time and need a little clean and bend (on hailong style at any rate ). It can make weak connection causing cutouts under load or when hitting even tiny bumps

it cuts out randomly even when not moving , to power back on i have to disconnect switch from display unit and then it powers back up, i'm thinking maybe a faulty switch ?
