The repeated 5 second dirty water dunk test at 12m 37s cued below: my BBS01B still works despite complete submersion for 13 seconds.

The test at 13m 23 is lacking - those displays aren't fully submerged. Button pads seem well waterproofed, but I don't believe their displays are. Mine wears a hoody.

It was fun to watch, but... I really miss good old fashion journalism. Now there are only influencers everywhere

I inadvertently submerged my BBS01 motor for about 10 secs a couple of years ago while riding through what I thought was just a shallow rain filled trough. No issues, the motor has just clocked up 4500+ miles.
I think Bosch could learn a thing or two from Bafang judging by the water ingress issues with Gen 4 CX motors

If Bosch "250W" motor systems and batteries are ever comprehensively hacked, I'll buy one and find ways to waterproof the things. Must be possible, @soundwave posted a video about Performance Balls doing so. That video is on that dude's channel somewhere. It was a segment within a longer Performance Line Bearings vid, might turn up in a search of the channel.
