Don't really understand the size argument. The c961 is 107x58mm and the colour display is 90x60. OK the c961 is landscape but as such takes up more handlebar space.
I thought that... Well researched and explained Rob.Don't really understand the size argument. The c961 is 107x58mm and the colour display is 90x60. OK the c961 is landscape but as such takes up more handlebar space.
Thanks for the info, the portrait version in the pic from your original post just makes it look massive. Probably due to a fact that it is a close up pic.Don't really understand the size argument. Does the C961 have a standard clock/time display? need to know if am going to be late for work or the train when commutingJust Installed the new DPC-14 colour display and like it a lot, the voltage readout is so much more useful. Anyway I have a good condition C961 if anyone wants one.

they are not using the same protocol to talk to the controller.need to find out now if I can swap out the crappy LED PAS display on my Carrera Crosscity for one of these - looks like the connectors are the same and the motor is Bafang/8Fun 250w (rear hub drive)
Sorry, been on hols, local bloke already took the Display unit.Does the C961 have a standard clock/time display? need to know if am going to be late for work or the train when commuting
[EDIT] Never mind - have just found a video from California e-bike on setting the time display on C961 - need to find out now if I can swap out the crappy LED PAS display on my Carrera Crosscity for one of these - looks like the connectors are the same and the motor is Bafang/8Fun 250w (rear hub drive) not sure about the controller though as it is sealed inside the frame
I would be interested in your old C961 if I can find out if it is compatible
