Bafang BBS02b what is this controller lead?

I have just received a new Bafang BBS02 36v 500w from China.
The controller comes with an extra lead that I do no know the function of.
The picture shows four leads from left to right.
3 pin speed sensor.
Two 4mm connectors for power positive and negative
Connector to loom for control and brake sensors and
The 2 pin lead i do not recognise. Do not have a matching connector for it elsewhere in the kit.
Can anyone help?

Throttle?

I believe the throttle connects to the front harness that has two yellow brake sensors, the connection for the visual display and a third yellow connection for the throttle. Will however check this when I am back in the shed.

The only 2 pin plugs that look like that are currently in use by Bafang on the Bafang MAX motor and there are two, one for the rear light and one for the gear cut-out...I'd imagine that yours is for the gear sensor but don't quote me as my last batch of BBS02Bs (dated July 2016) didn't have that extra wire/plug

I just heard back from the vendor. They confirmed that it is a 6v lead for a front light.

It suggests that I have received on of the latest kits.
Will report back when I have the bike built as to whether the power to this lead is switched through the new colour display and at what voltage.
