Bafang BBS01 error 7

Connected a brake cutout this morning and when used I get error 30 followed by error 4 then it resets itself and away we go.
Easy fix,removed the cutout

Is it a three-wire brake cut-off? If so, are the three wires in the correct sequence?

Yes but only 2 wires on the switch. Tried all combinations.

Hi re error code 7 over voltage protection. I have the same problem on a BBS01 36V mid drive motor. It has only covered 300 miles and has not been tampered with or abused. I am told the controller is a weak part in this system. Does anyone know what item fails in the controller. It would be of interest to see if it can be replaced without spending some £70 on a new one.
