Hi people I'm on the last leg of the motor installation..i have to install the Battery and now have some Rivnuts 5mm and 6mm to fix the Battery mount to my frame. Main wiring loom and display still need tobe fitted ..A big thank you to the members on here for the helpful info this should be a walk in the park..or maybe a ride. Anyway are there any tips or things I should know before continuing to wire up..i.e. Waterproofing and cable runs..looking forward to my first power assisted ride..well my joints are..lol

All the Bafang cables have Higo connectors, which are fully waterproof. That should just leave the battery dock to Bafang power cables. I slipped some adhesive lined shrink tubing over one of the cables, soldered them together, then slipped the shrink tube over the joint and shrunk it with the heat gun.

Whoops, just seen the spare cable in your photo. Just cap that off with a piece of plastic cut from a bin bag and elastic band it on.
