Steve, you own two of the most reliable bikes to have ever been made. :)

Many years ago, I recall sitting track side at the Donnington GP, watching a then unknown lad whooping the backside of some very well known riders, and all were on CB500's That young lad was James Tosleand, and I remember telling people that he was going to be a lad to watch out for.. :)

A Honda Revere was one of my favourite hacks, as was an elderly CX500. Both were like sitting on your favourite old armchair, and both just seemed to go on forever. I also owned a C90 for a while, but for some reason, never really got around to doing anything with it. Then someone made me a silly offer on it, and it was gone.

I haven't owned or ridden a bike for many years now, but I can't kick my desire to own a very odd bike. A Sommer, trail style, diesel Enfield.
The Sommer fulfils my love of both well engineered diesel engine bikes, and slow back lane riding. I could just never justify or afford one.

Just popped back for a another look, I'm still quite amazed at what Eddie has done with those bikes.

In total contrast I also like Steve's C90 Cub and have been close to buying one on a couple of occasions but chickened out for two reasons, I have no justifiable reason to own one and electric bikes fulfil my two wheel needs.

A Honda Revere was one of my favourite hacks
Motorcycles has been my life since I got my BSA C15 when I was 16. I've had just about every type of touring bike, sports bike, moped and scooter, until about 13 years ago, when I got my NTV 650 Revere for £1100 with only 3000 miles on the clock. I still keep looking at other bikes, but I can never find anything to beat it for all- round transport. It's comfortable, light, has a punchy motor, and can be loaded right up with hardly any effect on handling. It's the most reliable bike I've ever had. When I started with electric bikes, I stopped using it. It sat at the side of my house with no cover on for three years in the sun and snow. This year I decided to use it again, so charged up the battery, started it up and drove it down to the MOT station. It passed. I can't think of another motorbike that would survive that abuse and still work. It's now 21 years old.
