That problem completely slipped my mind. I did have vehicle, at one time, that exhibited those symptoms and it was indeed the anti sway bar bushings. They were easy to replace and it happened twice during the time I owed it. It was a rear wheel drive car and the bushing were bad in the front. It you have an anti sway bar in the rear of the car, your noise may be coming from there. Sound travels through the frame of the vehicle and can sometimes be had to pinpoint.I would say suspension related such as the anti-roll bar bushes. or wishbone bushes.
Just goes to show how cheap parts are for little cars like the Micra.Drive it in a tight circle on flat even ground.
If it is the UJ joint -replace both sides -the other side won't be far behind.

A Skoda is the same car, more or less, parts from the same batch but miles different in price. Items cost what the market will bear, serves them right.Just goes to show how cheap parts are for little cars like the Micra.
My mate paid way more than that for a CV joint for his Audi.
