Jeremy's right about the code numbers and speeds, but they never seem to know what they'll send you
Yep, which is why I have a spare Code 10 BPM sat here................. Not only did I specifically order a Code 8 BPM, but I double checked with them by email to try and make sure that it would be a Code 8 that they shipped. They still sent me a Code 10 though.

Interestingly, the Q100 I bought from Greenbikekit (same warehouse supplier as BMS Battery) was pretty much exactly as described; it mainly seems to be the Suzhou Bafang motors that they get a bit confused about.

In many ways life would be a heck of a lot easier if these drop-shippers just quoted the motor Kv (the rpm per volt figure) for each motor in their adverts and ordering process, as that way we'd be a bit more confident that we might actually get the right motor.

It normally takes about 2 weeks now. If you look at "my orders" when logged on to their website, you can see what's happening.
You might want to think about ordering your 6 or 7 speed 11T DNP free-wheel from Cyclezee now, so that you don't have to delay after your kit arrives. No free-wheel is included with it.
I hope you'll be showing us some photos of your bike as you do it.

Hi,
Yes I will update and try and do a mini build thread. Thanks will get on the case with the freewheel.

I just received a message from Bms. They said the motor is code 12 not 10. Should I say to proceed ?
Also they said that the 36v controller will not work with the 48v motor?

Thanks

My Code 13 does about 20mph , so code 12 should be a bit faster. I can't understand why they are saying that the controller won't work unless they think that you're going to use a 48v battery, Could you ask them why?

Ok il go with the the code 12. I did say to them I've ordered a 36v battery from them. As long as you think it will me ok il tell the, to send the 36v controller anyhow.
Cheers,
