If Swytch gen 3 users want to retain there front handlebar battery holder to leverage their investment in their Swytch battery packs, then unfortunately fitting a KT controller in the handlebar module that the current Lishui controller lives in, would seem difficult/impossible! Attached is a picture of the Swytch module aluminium casting. The existing controller (36V - 6A/12A peak) measures 90 x 40 x 25. With a bit of cutting and filing to remove some of the casting and front panel webbing, I think up to 60 x 90 x 30 would be possible. I’ve looked at the KT24/36SVPR-HRD01, but you’d end up with all the cable connectors out in the weather. Are there any other generic controllers out there other than KT that might fit?

The lack of response says it all! I know a lot of frustration surrounds this topic.
I’ve now got my head around how I’m going to move away from Swytch gen 3 with the minimum of pain without throwing away my good Swytch packs, etc.
1. Remove the controller from the handlebar module totally, but leave the yellow connector, and wire a Schottky diode and a fuse in series to it and terminate in a XT60 connector (All power sources I use will have this fuse and shottky so I can plug in what I fancy with no risk). Switch packs can therefore still be plugged in there, but the power is fed via 14swg wires to the new controller position.
2. Fit either the existing Lishui controller or a new KT controller into a downtube box (ebay £10) and cable the handlebar module, PAS, hub, and display to it (for the Swytch display, you can get a IP65M6 extension cable for £20 on ebay).
3. Take a 14swg cable-pair to the back pannier for additional power sources ( in my case makita packs).
Instead of the downtube box, some might prefer an all-in-one battery and controller box.
