just thought I would post a few pictures of my Allen Aurora after owning it a few months new mods I have done
installed 710 mm bars £20 standard are 600 makes bike feel totally different with3 inch rise also
larger pedals
bought another set of lights from Alien £34 I do allot of night riding working shifts I just spliced wires together then soldered made a couple of brackets easy done look at pics front was easier as the screw hole was already there think it was from the old clamp breaks look at pics it was well worth the mod as I didn't want to buy battery ones
little bottle holder on handlebar stem.. need new bottle..
things to do
larger chain ring as 20 mph legs are going like the clappers and I'm14 stone
thats the end if my things to do.... any suggestions
hers the pics couldn't decide which to show so hers all....will only let me post 4

Youve got the same pedals I have - 'cept mine ar black.

the stock ones on the Trek were crap - the screws kept falling out of the cages and the bearings were well on thier way out at only 2k miles. Why does a premium manufacturer continue to spec crap pedals? Maybe they expect everyone to fit spuds instead?

Great bike the Aurora and a great company. My GSII now needs a new battery but its been a good workhorse for the last 2.5 years...

I got about two good years of out it, its been liming along for the last few months....range has dropped dramatically and it now cuts out on hills.

I think I already know which way I'll go for battery replacement and hope to get it ordered in August sometime...

just bought avid bb7 from ebay £56 for a pair with rotors from china 10days delivery.
i must say wow easy to set up stopping power is great ,quite,
if buying for rear you will need 185mm rotor for better clearance for motorand adjusting pads, will post pics later

Mods, oh just a few! :D Here's a short thread! (not)

Chain wheel is 48tooth, could do with a 52 TBH but its fine for me...

Rather than get anew chainwheel, you could get the 11T free-wheel from Cyclezee for about £25.
Here's a good replacement brake as it has switch for cut-off. Looks like he's sold out now, but maybe he'll get some more:
