Thanks will see if they can offer a different motor.328 rpm is too fast for a 26" or bigger wheel. It can work in something like a road bike, where you're at constant high speed, but is unsuitable for normal bike speeds. Also, it will tend to over-heat your controller when in a big wheel. 328 rpm is for 20" wheels and smaller.
Thanks this one is for my brother in law whos a HGV driver, he wont want to take the risk so would need to be a labelled 250w motor. This one for the rear. If somebody pealed off the label and it would be the same as any other "250w" motor:

would need to be a labelled 250w motor.
The out of stock motor was a front hub motor (AKM-100SX 36V250W ).If he has 8 speeds or more, he needs a cassette motor, so the out of stock one would be a bad choice.
Got the rest of the order coming from topbike kit and already paid so would be easiest if i could get a different one they supply. The AKM-75SX 36V250W seems to be the closest to the 100sx front hub motor but i can't see any real difference apart from weight of the motorThis is the same motor as the 100SX.

I am guessing he is about 13-14 stone so i'll try and get him onto rear hub AKM-100CST Cassette 36V250WThe weight of the motor is ideal for lightweight riders but if he is a big burly trucker then it will struggle, if he is only about 10st it will be ideal.
The 75 is a tiny thin motor that is only suitable for low power and light weight solutions. the one I had was sensorless too, so only worked with certain controllers, though your listing does say it has sensors and shows the 9-pin connector.I am guessing he is about 13-14 stone so i'll try and get him onto rear hub AKM-100CST Cassette 36V250W
The AKM128CST is small at only 128mm dia, a lot smaller then most 250w hubs sold or available on OEM bikes.I am guessing he is about 13-14 stone so i'll try and get him onto rear hub AKM-100CST Cassette 36V250W
Thanks for the heads up i've lowered the output to just under 15amps on my controller and find it's got more than enough power to get up hills for me normally at assist 4 for the steeper ones. Feels like 3 or 4 times the power of my first voilamart kit with 36v battery.AKM 100 had issues at more then 20a & 48v, AKM128 handles 25a ok & probably ok at 30a.
On German forum a guy used 60v and 40a on Bafang SWXK using oil cooling on a hot rod tadpole.
