What colour was the 'pressure vessel' cover on your airzound3 John? - mine was red, would have preferred black, just wondering if they do come in different colours? Still, no big deal, I'll just cover it with something.

My previous Airzound had a clear bottle, but I stitched a leathercloth cover for it:

Looks good, flecc - any particular reason for that choice of material? I guess its quite waterproof?

Mine also has a clear bottle, but is encased up to the shoulder in a red 'velcroable' material, which appears to be glued on so could be messy to remove...

Of course Stuart, I'd forgotten about the red cover, since I ripped that off the moment I saw it. Yuk!

The leathercloth is good because it's waterproof, and I happened to have a piece just big enough at the time. An upholsterers would be a good source.

Thanks for the tips flecc - I'd missed your mention of this detail on the Torq section of your site: this was a bit of an unplanned, impulse purchase so not much forethought .

I'm considering trying to fashion a waterproof and insulating cover, in order to boost performance in the cold... but one things for sure - the red cover is quite yukky indeed and has to go!

Althought the Airzound 2 was black, this one is red too!

Thanks for the info John - no colour indication on the box with mine, so I suppose all the airzound3s have a red bottle cover - different from the images I've seen of the airzound2 which are black as you say (the images on the box for my airzound3 are oddly & misleadingly of the airzound2 and show a black bottle cover... )
