The motor has connections only (i presumed all brushless motors were 3 phase?)

Feared it would be, the controller must default to 250w without the LCD1 fitted. How many pins on the motor connector?

Oh, i missed the 3 from my above post, it's 3 pin at the last connection nea the motor hub.

OK, it's a sensorless motor then, so the controllers I suggested won't work, wll try and find one that will.

Are you sure? I repaired a 1000w Cyclotricity Stealth recently and I'm pretty sure it was a 9-pin connector, though I don’t think it was the version with the 250w setting.

Buy a water repellent contact spray. I soak everything in the stuff. No idea what brand in the UK. Within BG. Tin on the right is insulation varnish, spray that on the motor windings.

I thought they were too, but not seen one in the flesh. All the Stealth models seem to come with duel power motors, so you would expect them to be the same.
BMS batteries do a 30 amp KT sensorless controller, £63 inc LCD3 and postage, but you will have all the wiring connections to re-do and waterproof, so quite a bit of work. Can't find one with Julet connectors. You might be just as well to bite the bullet and get a new LCD1 from Cyclotricity, if you can get hold of them.

Cyclotricity are all KT but controller/lcd are custom oem supplied so software/programming is a little different to standard option available.
To gain the advantage of dual wattage you will have to bite the bullet and buy from them.
Current motors/controllers are all 9 pin sensored.

It's saying "don't give him full power until he hands over £80" You need the help of one of those pale, ill looking, troll-like characters who lives in a dark basement, dosn't go out and spends his life reverse engineering computer code. Any takers?

The controller/LCD'S aren't standard apart from the fact they look exactly the same on the outside, it the pcb's that are different. KT's auper special dept have worked some different magic in the software programming, Cyclotricity will have paid extra for this so that is why they want your £80 because you can't get this any where else .

I have lcd1, 2 & 3 and non have P6.

For less then the price of the cyclo kit you can quite easily have 750w and up to 950w if willing to push to the edge of the envelope but have feeling 25a will likely be a bit too far for something like the Yose hub.

I need to know 100% that i can enable 1000w mode.

My brother (who i had bike off) stated he had to sign a disclaimer and he had to set up P6 function (enter any number except 99) himself, but has lost the instructions.
