Advice on buying an E-Bike

One question that I had: the assist mode has 3 levels and a throttle. Even at the lowest level it is a lot more powerful than other e-bikes. Is there a way to reduce the power in assist mode?
The only way you can fix that is to change the controller to a KT one, which costs about £80. Your bike has the controller integrated into the battery case, so you'd have to mount the KT controller in its own case or in a bag.

Basic pas control is simply speed limited so you get full power until the speed cap for each pas level is reached..

It can be counter intuitive to start with - messed me up a bit at least.. but it only takes a few outings to get used to it and a simple crack of either brake lever is just enough to invoke the brake cut off of the motor should you need to temper the power to navigate situations.
