Hi I have a 14 mile mixed hill and flat commute each day and have found a fold-able lightweight e bike but my main concern the lithium Ion battery 36v 10ah (3.2kg) is mounted on the seat post, are these style bikes steady in windy conditions also would I feel movement and too much rattle with such when going over bumps in the road the bike weighs all in 23.6 kg and would I be able to get this nature style battery ? it looks like over foldable seat post batteries found on the KUDOS sport and the CLYCLAMATIC pro, please bare in mind this is solely for commuting not off road. Any thoughts suggestions out there.

The cantilever batteries on the seat post are ok but you have to be careful not to hang any additional weight on the battery and not to use the handle at the rear of the battery to pick the bike up,this handle is for sliding out the battery and not for lifting the bike.
If you ignore the above you can damage the plastic sides of the slider upon which the battery slides.
Lots of bouncing on rough off road tracks can do similar damage but you say your riding is mostly on road.
Of 188 Kudos Sport bikes sold maybe 10 had this damage.
hope that helps

Thank you for that so I should be ok yes? if I use this bike it would be with a back pack and use as a spare commuter bike in bad weather as it would be less heavy than my current bike which weighs 26 + panniers, as I mentioned the bike I am looking at is 36V 10ah what sort of life cycles would this give roughly and range they say 60-75 km your thoughts on this detali or any body have a similar style bike

It would be better if you told us exactly which bike it is.
