I have just taken delivery of my new cycle to work scheme ebike Raleigh motus crossbar 2021.

My other bike is a whisper 904se crossbar and but due to a number of things I've decided on a mid drive.

Broken spokes, and struggling with rear tyre punctures due to having to remove cables to hub motor etc and 3 dealers closing over the pandemic.

Don't get me wrong I like the wiper bike it's served me well.

Anyway back to the advice I'm looking at getting a frame lock or Cafe style lock as I don't need anything more.

The bike is kept in house, when at work it's in a secure bike area key only access to get to it.

I only need to lock briefly when nip into shop.

Anyone fitted one of these locks?

Nope. but its a cafe lock and you asked how to fit a cafe lock.
Pictures speak more than words do.

I bought two, one each for my and my wife’s new bikes. I bought the Kryptonite frame lock with plugin cable so not only does it lock the rear wheel but you can attach it to a bike rack or post so it can‘t easily be carried away. You can get plugin chains as well but the cables are lighter to carry on the bike and fine if you’re just leaving it while popping into a shop or cafe. I wouldn’t trust it for longer term though.

It is very easy to fit provided you have the brake mounts on the frame.
