I don't necessarily agree that any publicity is good publicity. IMHO, the overriding impression people will be left with is of an aggressive cyclist, not a clearer understanding of what the ASL is about.
You don't think that they'll ask the question, "what made him go nuts?"?

I dare say they will.:) And most people will probably go "Phhht - Road rage! Even cyclists now! And most of them ignore the rules anyway". As a result of which, cyclists will drop further in some drivers estimation.:(
But to hope for a clearer understanding of what the ASL zone is from that is wishful thinking, IMHO.
