Help! Additional Charger for Carrera Subway

I recently purchased a Carrera Subway E bike from Halfords and am trying to purchase a 2nd charger - ideally one that connects directly to the battery rather than a charging dock. I contacted Halfords about this and they cannot help (!). There’s a myriad of generic chargers out there but none seem to be compatible. The bike was supplied with a charging dock but there is a 3 pin charging socket on the side of the battery. Can anybody advise? Thanks

I think this one uses the Suntour system and a generic type charger likely won't work, someone else might be able to advise where you can get one or use the search part of the forum for answers.

Halfords updated a lot of things on their Carreras in the last year: The new batteries/chargers have fiddly little connectors and fragile pins which many complained about/broke the pins. A member posted here recently that Halfords are now supplying a charger with a dock that charges through the discharge pins rather than the charge socket (which seems to be what you're also saying?).

I'd talk to PowaTechnic in Sheffield: They seem pretty versatile in putting together the usual Sans e-bike chargers with virtually all the odd-ball 3/4/5-pin connecting plugs. I think the one you need might be the T8, but I'd call to check with them first.
