On the subject of lights, some KTMs come with wired in lights, I am presuming working off the light switch on the control panel. Is it possible to retrofit to the eRaceP, an led light operating off the console/battery, like the ones d8veh has used?
I guess the word, 'warranty' is going to pop its little head up soon!
Some controllers have an unconnected wire for system-voltage lights, so yours may well have _ Worth a look.

That really is a Cracking looking bike.

Anyone know how ktm got round the chainline problems that caused Haibike to fit the idler sprocket on their small-chainring Bosches?

I never understood why they did that, my Delite works without the Heath Robinson look.

Some makes now use a clutch derailleur.

There is reasonably firm resistance if you try to push the rear dearailleur towards the front of the bike.

In riding, this has the effect of keeping the chain taught.

I have ordered the Lycon with clip on guards and rechargeable led light set.

Thought about using the lighting feed from the motor but the chap in the shop said it could get messy if they were to be nicked, plus clip on and off-able is good for a quick setup change.

Never got to try the Lycon but did try out a couple of full suspension and hard tail bikes, including KTMs, that were similar and had the exact same engine and transmission

Also tried out hub bikes but felt quite disconnected from the experience... Something I could get used to but the crank system suited me straight away.

Dealer gave me a little bit of discount. Not sure if we are allowed to discuss the merits of particular dealers here but if we are I would say I decided on the KTM over the Focus Thron based on my direct experience with the two shops I visited.

Only just spotted this. Nice one, and congratulations. The KTM clan is building rapidly.:) I might have even persuaded someone else today into buying a KTM. That's three potential sales in one week, and none of them have even tried an e-mtb.

I've also just ordered up a further two Mucky Nutz mudguards. I figured that I'd fit one on the rear to help protect the rear shock. :)

I also wouldn't mind a gator/shroud to protect it. I'll probably have to make something up myself for that. I might even really splash out and add a bit of heli tape on any vulnerable places. The BH looked tired very quickly because I hadn't done this to it, and I don't want the same happening to the KTM.
