Can be only done by the Manufacturer using Diagnostics. On the early systems you could move the magnet and sensor to trick the system. Bosch worked this one out pretty quickly.

It's probably the same as the Badass one. A simple microprocessor reads the speed sensor and pulses an output to a coil . It sits between the sensor and the magnet, so that the Bosch sensor only sees the pulse from coil, instead of the magnet.

I may be getting a bit paranoid, but..I tend to compare other eBay sellers with my own experiences before buying from them, and as an eBay seller that manufactures and or buys to sell for profit then the law is clear in that I must be registered as a business seller with all that that implies If the law is different in another country then eBay's own rules are also clear in that business sellers must be registered and offer a 14 day money back guarantee and his feedback shows he has been selling the same item(s) in bulk volumes so he is obviously not a private seller disposing of unwanted items. But apart from any legal stuff that may or may not apply in Cyprus, any seller offering a new item costing £80 ish, that specifically states "No returns accepted" suggests I may be risking my cash... All my products offer a money back guarantee, so I ask myself. why would I not want to offer this guarantee?...... As it happens, as an eBay registered business seller I do not have a choice, unless of course I decide to masquerade as a private seller....... Another sign of a good seller are answers to questions.. Being clear and to the point when asked...

I've asked the seller twice now for information, all I get back is "I can assure you that it works" I was intrigued to see how it works as its states "no wire cutting" and "no batteries" hence I was thinking it must be a mechanical device.
The more I think about it the more I think its a scam and I certainly won't be risking my money on it!
I think i'll end up with a badass typ3.3, but I am keen to find a mechanical solution to the problem! mmmm

Yes, that would work.
The magnet would need to be fixed to a frame mounted star wheel of some description. A 360 degree rotation of this star wheel would pass the magnet over the sensor.
A small peg fixed to one of the spokes would knock the magent wheel round by say 90 degrees for each revolution of the road wheel.
Every 4th rotation of the road wheel would move the magnet past the sensor.
It would work but requires someone play around with brackets and bits of plastic to get the design sorted.
Bit of time and a few quid, so not such a bad idea.
I have just received the badass dongle for my yamaha powered haibike and it makes a huge difference, so easy to fit and if it needs removing I guess it will take less than a minute.
I know it only eliminates the motor cutting out at 15mph but seems to give a better power delivery not sure why.
It could be that the motor torque just matches the gearing better at speed.
Don't think for a minute it's a flyer just more relaxed riding and mostly in the medium setting. High for hills mmmmmmmmm

I just installed mine too. what sort of speeds are you getting?
I can't seem to get over 40km/hour with the gearing on the sduro.
Wondering what options there are to get another 5km an hour out of the sduro.
You will need to go for a larger front sprocket.
Look for martin's postings here. Though that's if your in the UK.
I use mine mostly off road so don't need higher speed but would be nice some times.
Fairly sure you could go for a double clanger looks like all the fixings are on the Haibike.

I think it could probably be be done mechanicaly.
I see a pawl and gear arrangment that exposes the sensor to the magnet every third revollution or whatever the pulse ratio is for the dongle.
Probaly cost more than the bad ass solution though. It would need precision parts that can withstand the mud and extreme conditions. Maybe Shimano could get involved?
