I accidentslly film all sorts of dodgy stuff around here. Drug deals, racing and flash cars doing massive overdspeads to name but three . Today I was stopped by two cars going in opposite directions who stopped for a handshake and a 5 minute chat through their windows totally unconcerned that the road was blocked both ways. I wouldn't dare even put that on YouTube let alone report it, but the on the phone in the van driving with the wrong arm whilst navigating traffic wondering what hell he is doing is an accident waiting to happen .The police seem to routinely ignore these reports and videos from the public of driver behaviour and I think they are wise to do so. There's already far too much animosity between different classes of road users and acting on such reports will only increase that. Even the presence and use of such cameras is causing ill feeling, so for that reason alone I will never use one.
.
They charge £30 to wire it through the headlining and down into the fuse box so there are no visible cables and are insured in case it goes wrong, shorts out and sets your car on fire. In my case I already had the cam from my last car so the £30 was just to fit it.so 30 quid to yet again plug in a usb cable tbh if you bought it from them they should have fitted it for free.
we have a local car stereo shop and anything you buy for them is fitted for free if there is a free slot.
tho there is a fee to fit a jackhammer as they need a fork lift to pick it up lol
Our bus drivers do that all the time round here, completely blocking the road while chatting cab to cab. We just treat it as normal now.Today I was stopped by two cars going in opposite directions who stopped for a handshake and a 5 minute chat through their windows totally unconcerned that the road was blocked both ways. Again pretty normal stuff. It might look like an accident waiting to happen, but he's probably been driving for them for ages without incident. I'm all for letting people do their thing since it's none of my business. If they actually do misjudge they face the consequences, so no need for me to act.on the phone in the van driving with the wrong arm whilst navigating traffic wondering what hell he is doing is an accident waiting to happen .
