Ok need to explain title a little better. Basicly I need a new controller. My motor is 9 pin 350w 36v. I was looking at the 9 pin controllers and they are a lot more expensive and usually shipped from China. Saw a few controllers on Amazon for half the price they where for 36v motors also but tons of wires and conecters. Couldnt I just splice the 9 pin on to one of these?? Obviously I would need wiring diagram of the 9 pin connector and wiring diagram of the wires on the new controller. Any help greatly appricated.

Show the wires you already have coming out of your controller. We can then point you to some choices.

Thanks

Thats the controller there in picture. Put ive seen other controllers a third of the price. Just dont have the 9 pin motor conector on them. Was going to pick one up on amazon and splice 9 pin into wires on other controller. Its a brushless 36v 350w motor. Yose Power. Thanks... oh and the display is c500. Not sure if most controllers will work with this display. As I said I dont mind splicing wires and water proofing them. Thanks

Why are you buying a new controller? They don't normally go wrong.

All controllers work the same. Only the connectors are different. They're often tied to the LCD in one way or another, so it's always best to buy them as a pair.

What about this?

I stupidly dropped some solder on inside while extending wires. Didnt notice and plugged in and got fried unfortunately. Il extend outside the box next time lol....

So Im worried my Dashi c500 display wont work with a generic controller. So what about the above link kit.

I think The C500 Yosepower display will only work with a Yosepower (Lishui) controller.
How much were you expecting to pay?
A replacement 350w. controller is available from Yosepower UK for £32.00 including postage.
I ordered one and it arrived within 3 days from their UK warehouse.
Lishui 36V Controller for Yose Power Motor Kit – YOSE POWER UK
What wires are trying to extend? There are lots of Julet extension cables on ebay for the motor, throttle, brake and PAS sensors.

Those cheap controllers are pretty crude in the way they work. The power algorithms are not as good as the LiShui ones. We normally recommend KT controllers with LCD3, which are a bit more expensive, but worth it. They have different a different connection sequence on the PAS moulded connector even when the connectors match, otherwise installation is straight forward.

You can't go by the watts written on the controller. Instead, you must make sure that it has the right maximum current written on it.

The cheap controllers are cheap for a reason, they are the crappy speed controller versions. The more expensive KT models are much better with better power levels and power delivery.
