Looks like a good idea to me for those who don't do their own regular servicing, that's a fair amount of work they are doing.
Spokes replaced and wheels trued
A bit worrying, why would spokes need replacing or the wheel truing unless it has had a significant impact?

Some of these bikes have been on the road over a year now. It's been remarkable how few maintenance issues there have been given the number of bikes involved. A very different experience to other bikes we've sold in the past, which is why there's now time and space in the workshop to offer these extra services.

It's perfectly normal on new bikes for spokes and trueing to sometimes need attention after initial settling over a few hundred miles.

I think the winter service offer is an excellent idea, both looking after the bikes whose owners can't or don't want to, whilst occupying the technical staff to maintain their invaluable presence over the winter.

The more support innovation of this kind in the e-bike world, the better.

From what I've read of complaints by Pro Connect owners on here, the P/Connect owners on the early wheels at least, should jump at the offer. And get those chain tension bolts assemblies examined too, whilst they're at it.

Having said that I've never paid for a bicycle service in my life; preferring to carry out constant servicing as and when and not dependant on recommended mileages etc., But the offer of a service is a good offer for those with little experience/confidence at tackling wheel truing etc.,
