Hello folks
I'm feeling stuck :-( Have decided not to adapt my Dawes red feather.
Looking at smaller frames, the whoosh petite Santana looks fabulous, but unfortunately my (NHS) employer uses the 'cyclescheme' which whoosh don't work with :-(
So I'm searching an alternative. Similar price range really.
Off to a shop in St Austell, Cornwall, tomorrow so I can sit on some

Hi Sarah,
Welcome to the forum. You might consider one of the many small-wheeled folders on the market. They have small frames and are usually quite light.Good idea to try a local shop and have as many test rides as you can! One bike my local shop recommends is the Kudos Secret.

The Petite is something of a niche product, although Kudos also offer a 24" wheel step through.

They have dealers, so cycle scheming one might be easier.

Alternatively, just buy the bike that fits the best - getting the right bike is more important than getting a tax concession.

We have couple of Ansmann bikes that might be suitable for you.

The FC1 has a suspension seatpost, but we can supply a rigid one which allows the saddle height to be 5cm lower at it's lowest point.

My friend Lynn has an FC5, she is also a shorty and finds it perfect for her.

Being a folder it means her bike & my Birdy can both fit into her small Suzuki so we can do the old rail line trails, keeps her away from the traffic.

Hey all
I decided upon a Kudos Tempo purchased through cycle scheme from e-bikes direct. It's fab :-D had her about a month now, and am getting on really well :-D
