My name Zarko,
I am a Student at Swansea Metropolitan University and I am currently studying Product Design. I’m in my final year and right now I’m doing a project on personal transport within urban areas for the year 2050. My brief is to design a personal transportation device that would be able to integrate with the fully automated cars that could be running inside our future cities. The device will be manually operated to retain analogue human input for a pleasurable and rewarding experience from point A to B.
As I live in a rural area I am not really accustomed to some of the daily implications that city dwellers have to endure. My adventure is fundamentally challenging me on how to understand people as part of the design process. The best way to do that for me is to immerse myself into it.
I have put together some initial questions of what I would initially like to find out in order to further enrich my understanding.
